We arrived in South Side Marina at 4 pm with an almost overheating engine and almost empty diesel tank and containers!
Read MoreWe arrived in Mayaguana at 12nn after another smooth overnight sail from Clarence Town! We were motorsailing all throughout the night and that’s my first time to handle our boat on my own (Jonathan was resting) with the mainsail and genoa up!
Read MoreToday is one of our most important trips, heading on a 130 NM miles sail to our last Bahamian island... Mayaguana is one of the least developed islands in this country since it’s on the Southeastern side and closer to Turks & Caicos than in the capital of Nassau.🏝
Read MoreIt took us almost 11 hours of motor-sailing from Calabash Bay to Clarence.. wind was not much, but we had our Genoa and mainsail up and they full of wind! ❤️
Read MoreThe most beautiful sail we’ve ever experienced since we started our sailing adventures! Today, we were sailing with our mainsail and genoa up!
Read MoreToday, we’re heading to the next stop, LONG ISLAND with Stuart of S/V Moonshadow and Trimaran Tim which I think is going to be our last stop with our friends before we separate ways again! Argh. I hate goodbyes, but we always believe we will see each other again ❤️
Read MoreI received very good questions the other day from new readers 😀 Sharing my answer for the others who are also curious ✔️
“Don’t you miss the office and working? How do you fund this sailing lifestyle?”
Read MoreBeen a great start (business-wise) of the month which means we can afford not to work in the next 2 weeks to fully enjoy our longer sailing journey down south! ⛵️
Read MoreToday is the first proper Easter we celebrated together as a couple.. we’ve been together for almost five years but four years was busy chasing some other goals.. this time we’re both renewing our faith together and realized that there are things that our energy and spirit should focus on. Building a happy and peaceful life! ❤️
Read MoreToday, Captain Ahab loves it.. we know he loves it when he’s spending most of the day on the deck then snoring (purring) loudly when sleeping! I’m the happiest mommy today! 🙏😍🐈
Read MoreWe spent the day on the sailboat today and the weather is soo much better so no being dizzy! I spent my day playing with Captain Ahab, watching this OSHO docu-series on Netflix, writing my daily life reflection and reading a book while Jonathan borrowed an oxygen tank from our boat friend to start cleaning the bottom of S/V Empress! We have a thick growth on the boat (the part where it’s underwater) if we remove the dirt we can sail and move faster!
Read MoreThe best thing about my relationship with Jonathan is that I’ve never lost my independence! I can still be “me,” I can go to places whenever I wanted, and I can make a decision to make my dreams come true, but I’m also doing the same thing of supporting him on whatever he wanted to do.. just like his Sailing dream! ❤️
Read MoreToday.. we left S/V Empress to go to land because they said there’s a music gathering from 4 pm til sunset and this is the chance to get out of the boat and walk! 🤪
Read MoreWe spent most of the day doing NOTHING! Lol! I had two coaching clients earlier, did yoga, cooked my version of palabok and played with the cat! Jonathan spent his day just sitting in the cockpit, but when it’s about sunset then he decided to clean his tools! Haha!
Read MoreToday, we spent it on a photoshoot for a magazine feature next month in the USA! They sent a professional photographer for this one, and I can’t wait to share it with you soon, but I can’t say anything about it for now! ❤️
Read MoreJonathan and other people have been doing it for me, and it’s very shameful to admit that I’ve never learned.. well when I was younger in the Philippines I only drank “Emperador”, “gin bulag” and redhorse and they all don’t have a cork! If you’re from UP, then you know what I’m talking about! Hahaha!🤪
Read MoreSaturday was spent on the sailboat, and I think that made Captain Ahab very happy since Jonathan was organizing his tools and ropes and our cat thinks it’s play time! Haha!
Read MoreFirst thing we did after anchoring the boat and checking we’d not drag was to go to town.. Stuart has a bigger dinghy (rubber boat) and he picked us up again.. we went to land and checked where to buy essential stuff! I badly need more internet data (I already used 30GB in less than a month time) and to buy myself a Coconut Rum to celebrate! 🤣
