Sailing Life Day 34: Good Friday in The Bahamas
It’s the long weekend here and everything is closed until Monday but glad our sailboat has 6 months worth of food provision! Since I’m trying not to eat meat today.. I cooked french fries!! Hahahaha 🤣🤣
We spent the day on the sailboat today and the weather is soo much better so no being dizzy! I spent my day playing with Captain Ahab, watching this OSHO docu-series on Netflix, writing my daily life reflection and reading a book while Jonathan borrowed an oxygen tank from our boat friend to start cleaning the bottom of S/V Empress! We have a thick growth on the boat (the part where it’s underwater) if we remove the dirt we can sail and move faster!
By afternoon, I did my sunset yoga while he went to Stuart (Moonshadow) boat to plan the next leg of our trip which is going to Long Island on Tuesday when the wind is in our favor! Glad we have friends to plan the route and the weather.. really helpful for newbie sailors like us! 🤩
Anyway, how’s your Friday everyone, where did you go for Visita Iglesia? That’s the kind of thing I missed.. I used to have this yearly visit to Pink Sisters in Tagaytay, Philippines and I swear everything I prayed there happened! ❤️🙏
P.S. Just in case you’re wondering, Captain Ahab is litter trained so he’s a really domesticated and properly trained kitty cat! 🐈⛵️
