Sailing Life Day 38: Boat Preparation for our Crossing to Dominican Republic via Turks and Caicos

Incredible to meet a lot of sailors during the last week of staying in George Town, Exumas! Usually this place is the last stop of some cruisers who are just on a winter trip to the Bahamas but then some are heading South East to jump to the next country.. just like us! We’ve met a lot of Circumnavigators too (those who sailed around the world) and we know it’s definitely going to be us in 2020 but on a NEEL 51! Haha 🤣

Anyway, Jonathan went around town yesterday refilling our water and diesel aside from looking for a boat spare part while I spent my day with coaching clients, cooking and cleaning the boat!

Our friend, Trimaran Tim, gave us his 2 freshly caught fish which I cooked for sinigang for our lunch and dinner! Yummy!🤩🤩

Today, we’re heading to the next stop, LONG ISLAND with Stuart of S/V Moonshadow and Trimaran Tim which I think is going to be our last stop with our friends before we separate ways again! Argh.. I really hate goodbyes but we always believe we will see each other again ❤️
