Sailing Life Day 33: Maundy Thursday in George Town, Exumas, Bahamas

I asked Jonathan to drive me to land by lunch time so I can go on a leisurely walk in Stocking Island on my own.. ❤️

The best thing about my relationship with Jonathan is that I’ve never lost my independence! I can still be “me”, I can go to places whenever I wanted and I can make decision to make my own dreams come true but I’m also doing the same thing of supporting him on whatever he wanted to do.. just like his Sailing dream! ❤️

It took him years to persuade me to buy a sailboat and to become full-time liveaboards but unexpectedly I’m loving this lifestyle waaaay too much than what I thought it would be! I always had this thing about feeling sick with the idea of going on a boat ride (I like cruises though) what more being full-time living on it! ❤️ Now, we’re here more than a month on this adventure! I will never achieve whatever I have now if I’ve never met the best partner in life who just motivate me that we can do everything as long as we’re together! That’s why my tip, marry a dreamer who is also a doer!

Anyway, I walked around the small island and took some photos of where we are currently anchored (it’s free to “park” our boat).. I actually saw two orange cats that seems to be the same age as Captain Ahab but they are more “wild cat” than our very domesticated cat and realized how big our kitty cat compared to them. Oops!

Life is good and thank you God for making it better! 🙏😍

P.S. Book that I’m reading now: Wild at Heart by John Eldredge.. anyone read this one? Great read!!
