Sailing Life Day 36: Easter Sunday Service here in Beach Church, Stocking Island, George Town

“Something generous, something kind,
He gave me vision when I’d been blind.
All I had was weariness. From playing out my role, but he made something beautiful in my soul.”

Today is the first proper Easter we celebrated together as a couple.. we’ve been together for almost five years but four years was busy chasing some other goals.. this time we’re both renewing our faith together and realized that there are things that our energy and spirit should focus on. Building a happy and peaceful life! ❤️

Attended the Sunday service here at the beach church and Jonathan is playing with the kitty cat that looks like Captain Ahab.. our baby is bigger than this one, but this kitty is already one year old while Ahab is only six months old! Haha ❤️

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you’re also feeling renewed and rejuvenated! God is good, and I’m thankful that we found HIM back in our hearts and I know we’re on the right track! 🙏

Positive vibes 🤩

Easter Sunday Cruisers’ Potluck Party 😘

The best way to celebrate Easter is to meet new people! After the Sunday service, Jonathan and I returned to the boat to cook for the potluck.. instead of making asian noodles we just decided to make mashed potato with bacon since it’s easier to prepare for lunch!😂⛵️

We were early at the celebration so I was able to taste all of the food prepared by other cruisers! Haha! We also met some of our old sailing friends and made new ones.. I don’t have any talent with music or anything that needs rhytm but I joined singing with the guys! Haha ❤️

Anyway, today (Monday) we’re now starting to prepare the boat for our longer crossing to Dominican Republic which is approx 220NM (nautical miles) or so.. we agreed that we’re not on a rush so instead of 1 week, it might take us 2 weeks on short daily sails to reach Luperon! We have some friends joining us sail to our next stop: LONG ISLAND, Bahamas! Yahoo! ❤️
