Sailing Life Day 30: Bahamas Photoshoot for a Magazine Feature
Ha, I can’t believe it’s been a month since we left Florida Keys to begin our new adventure! We’ve already sailed from Marathon —> Bimini (via the Gulf Stream) —> Nassau (via the Great Bahamas Bank—> Shroud Cay (via the Yellow Bank to cross to the Exuma chain—> Compass Cay —> Staniel Cay/ Big Majors Cay (via Exumas Bank) and here we are, currently anchored in Elizabeth Harbour in George Town, South of Exumas (we sailed via Exumas Sound) ⛵️
I can’t believe that this dream is finally happening and how much we’ve learned since we set off for this chapter of our life! I don’t know anything about sailing or boats aside from the fact that I havr to make sure the boat floats.. hahaha! But it’s been 30 days of being the First mate to Captain Jonathan and Captain Ahab is totally worth it! Yes, just the 3 of us as crews for S/V Empress and the most grateful part is that our kitty cat is really loving this lifestyle! 🐈⛵️
Today, we spent it with a photoshoot for a magazine feature next month in the USA! They sent a professional photographer for this one and I can’t wait to share it with you soon but I can’t say anything about it for now! ❤️
Really grateful to God and to everyone of you who are praying for us while we’re learning to thrive with this liveaboard life.. I hope one day some of you would join us but for now, hope you’re enjoying my daily online diary! Haha! 😍🙏
Another 3 weeks in the Bahamas before we move to the next Caribbean country... and remember guys, that you can also make your dreams come true! As what one my favorite quotes is: “Whatever your mind conceive, you will achieve!”
Question: How about you? What’s your big dream? I know you will manifest it! Share in the comment below!
