Sailing Life Day 37: Monday Back to Work!

It’s first monday of the month which means I have to organize our finances (budget, payment of bills etc) and to attend to emails and client calls! To all married couples out there, who handles the finances and how do you do your monthly budgeting? 🤣 (Since Jonathan and I started dating in 2013, actually just a month after being together.. he told me to manage our finances since he’s not good at it! He’s now always surprised that we have this lifestyle and I have saved money hiding somewhere in our 4 bank accounts! My goal this month is to cancel /clear all our credit cards and get back to our basic life and start saving more! Done now for me with online shopping! lol)

Been a great start (business-wise) of the month which means we can afford not to work in the next 2 weeks to fully enjoy our longer sailing journey down south! ⛵️

Jonathan went to land today after realizing that our 70-gal water tank is empty.. well, we’re not sure if we filled it up with 70-gal! Hehehe! Glad there’s free water for cruisers here but you have to pay $3 to throw your trash! Hehehe! 😂 He worked and answered on some intervew features then spent his afternoon getting “tanned”!

Our Captain Ahab really enjoyed it today because I didn’t leave the boat.. he slept and played on our deck most of the day.. I love his life and this cat is teaching me that relaxation is the priority for a happy life! Hahaha!

We’re supposed to leave tomorrow but we have to refill our water tank and fuel before starting our island hopping to south east Bahamas then to Turks & Caicos! Excited to move again...🙏🤩⛵️

P.S. I can’t run our business on my own...Just in case you’re wondering, we have full-time team members (with full-time monthly salary) working with us to run our business and they also quit their full-time corporate jobs to work as “digital nomads”! Just like my assistant, Yvette, who’s been working with us since 2016.. she left her job in Makati to work for us and she’s been traveling and just coordinating with me via email or whatsapp everyday (she even spent 3 months in the UK and can go wherever and whenever as long as there’s internet!!). Always grateful to her and for bringing me closer to God! Ganun daw pag pala-dasal, madaming blessings ❤️
