Exceptions

  • Holders of a valid visa of Schengen, US, UK and Northern Island, Ireland, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Romania, and Croatia or resident permits of those stated can enter Montenegro for up to 30 days or until the validity of their visa, whichever is lower. 

  • Holders of travel documents issued by EU Member-States, US, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Japan may enter Montenegro and reside there for up to 30 days without a visa.

  • Holders of Alien Passport from Latvia

  • Holders of APEC Business Travel Card can stay for a maximum of 30 days

  • Holders of a resident permit from United Arab Emirates (valid for at least 30 days) and arriving directly from there are visa-exempt and can stay for a maximum of 10 days but must show a return ticket and proof of accommodation

Montenegro Tourist Visa Requirements

1. Visa Request or Letter of Request

2. Duly filled up visa application form 

3. Original Valid Passport - at least 90 days from than inscribed visa sticker

4. Copy of Bio-page and Visas

5. Colored Photo (3.5 x 4.5 cm) - attached to the visa application form

6. Proof of staying purpose in Montenegro - Invitation Letter or Guarantee Letter from a legal entity or Montenegrin Citizen. It should contain the complete name, address, and contact number of both invited and invited and the purpose of coming to Montenegro.

7. Proof of Sufficient Fund - Bank Statement

8. Proof Working Status or Study Confirmation - may be a Certificate of Employment, Confirmation of Enrollment, or Business Permits

Step-by-Step Guide on getting a Montenegro Tourist Visa

Getting a visa for Montenegro is relatively easy and can be done in 6 easy steps.

STEP 1: Fill in the application form truthfully and legibly. Attach your photo. Collect all the required documents.

STEP 2: Contact the consulate of Montenegro to the Philippines through firstsecretary.montenegro@gmail.com. Ask for the exchange rate for visa fee payment. You may be given extra instruction.

STEP 3: Pay visa fees which is EURO 35 but in RMB equivalent of that day. Make sure you will shoulder the bank fees. Don’t forget to put your name in the deposit slip after paying.
