Getting a visa for Jamaica is relatively easy and can be done in 5 easy steps.
STEP 1: Fill in the application form truthfully and legibly. Attach your photo.
STEP 2: Collect all the required documents.
STEP 3: Personal appearance is required, so you need to present all original copies of your documents. Don’t worry as only photocopies are only submitted to the consulate.
STEP 4: At least 10 days before your departure, schedule an appointment for an Interview.

Yes, during your appearance at the consulate you need to bring all your original documents as the consulate will check it. However, they will only get photocopies.

Yes, it is mandatory since you will be scheduling an interview too.
4. I have a valid US / UK / Schengen Visa, am I exempted?
As per the Jamaican Embassy, there is no exemption for Philippine nationals, so you need to apply for a Jamaica Tourist Visa.

Since processing time is 1-2 days and you need to interview at least 10 days before your departure then I suggest at least 2 weeks before your flight.
