Skyroam Global WiFi: The Portable Wifi For All Your Connectivity Needs
Getting a stable internet connection is a necessity to almost everyone in the world now, especially students, professionals and people like us who travel and move from country to country in a short space of time. We need our portable WiFi connection to be fast, reliable, affordable, and unlimited. That’s exactly what we have found with our Skyroam Solis Global WiFi hotspot (use code 2MONKEYS to get 10% off)
When out traveling, it’s crucial to have an internet connection for work or pleasure, and to stay connected with family and friends. It is likewise the perfect tool to communicate with locals and to find your way around any foreign country. When we were out backpacking, we had to ask every hotel or restaurant that we stayed in if they have WiFi and what their password is. Unfortunately in some places, especially remote ones, there is none. It’s a waste of time getting out of a place just to find an internet connection somewhere else and that’s not how we want to travel either. By having our own portable, global WiFi hotspot, we are free to choose where to visit based on more than the internet connection they have.
For two years we lived aboard our Sailboat which was our little floating and our mode of transportation all over the Caribbean. Our plan was to sail around the Caribbean on our 1971 Finnrose 37, S/V Empress, while still being able to stay connected and run our online business without chasing WiFi wherever we went. This is an absolute necessity for us, especially since we earn from blogging and our other online activities.
Now, there’s not much to worry about because of Skyroam Solis Global WiFi hotspot!

How To Get started with skyroam
You can buy or rent your Skyroam hotspot here. As soon as your Skyroam hotspot arrives, simply switch it on, purchase a Daypass for as little as 8 Euros / $9 USD per day and enjoy being connected in over 130 countries!
Renting the hotspot is a great option if you are only likely to travel once or twice a year. Make sure to read the instructions for returning the hotspot at the end of your rental period.
Skyroam’s policy on connectivity
Skyroam is very clear in their FAQ page that as the hotspot is reliant on local cellular/mobile networks in the country you are visiting, they cannot guarantee that it will work everywhere, all of the time. They do, however, promise to investigate all connectivity issues and to replace service days where the connection was not good enough. Seems fair enough to us!
