Saint Lucia, named from St. Lucy of Syracuse, is one of the two countries in the world titled after a woman, the other in Ireland. It was discovered by Christopher Columbus during his fourth voyage but was settled in by English than the French and back to the British Empire. 1. Hike Gros Piton

A UNESCO World Heritage site in Saint Lucia is the twin peaks, the Pitons. You may need to be fit as the trail is about moderate to difficult. But, the experience is worth it! The views are incredible, and on a clear day, you can St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Martinique.

2. Dip on Sulfur Springs

Have a tour in the world's only drive it volcano, no need to hike or climb just ride a vehicle, and you'll see the volcano. Prepare yourself for the rotten egg smell as you go on a mud bath. It's perfect for your skin and so relaxing, so don't miss this!

To swim in crystal clear waters and lay down on sand are a must-do in the Caribbean. Try going to the Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, Marigot Bay or Pigeon bay for fantastic spots. Prepare your swimwear and snorkel gear as well!
