Who Needs To Apply For Portugal Schengen Visa
1. Those who are only visiting Portugal;
2. Those who are traveling around the Schengen Area and will be staying in Portugal for the longest duration; or
3. Those whose first entry is in Portugal, if going to other Schengen Countries in equal length.
Documents Required for Portugal Schengen Visa

1. Schengen Visa Application Form - filled out and signed by the applicant
2. One Passport-sized photo with white background and not older than 6 months – (35-40 mm width) paste your photo (not staple) on the designated space of the application form, altered photos are not accepted
3. Original Passport - with at least two blank pages and valid for at least 3 months after the date of stay in Schengen Area
4. Proof of Financial means

Bank statements, credit card statements or balance within the last six months

Photocopy of Round trip Airline Ticket Reservation – it is not required to pay or buy the ticket until visa is granted

Copy of real estate property (if relevant)

8. Photocopy of Travel Medical Insurance - It should be applicable for all Schengen States and cover the entire stay or transit period of the person. The minimum is EUR 30,000 /PHP 2,5 million / USD 50,000. I highly recommend AXA Schengen for this!.

STEP 3: Wait for the reply to your appointment. Should it not be available, they will accommodate a similar one.
