Kach Solo Travels Day 54: Porto, Portugal π My 118th country π
I arrived in Porto the two nights ago from Barcelona and able to meet with my new friend from Germany, Judy, who I met while in Naples, Italy. We shared a twin room in a backpackers hostel.. I arrived at 9:30pm and joined them for the 11pm Pubcrawl.. Iβm still not feeling at my best (trangkaso a bit!) but I canβt miss the Monday night socializing because you know YOLO. Haha π
I ended up hanging with 5 other girls from the hostel (Canadian,Germans & Brazillian), danced the night away and went to a nice local restaurant for a sandwich! Haha π¬
Then the next morning, Judy and I went on a full day of walking around the beautiful city of Porto.. I was so surprised! I love the vibes and how I wish I planned a longer trip here (if only I knew thatβs itβs really nice!). In between walking, I had to bring my brown wedge to the shoemaker because itβs broken and I donβt want to let it go (I bought it in Argentina in 2016 and traveled to a lot of countries with me! Haha).. I paid 5 Euros to get it fixed so I can still use it everyday π¬π¬
Then Judy and I took the tram and cable car by the river.. even shared a bottle of a local RosΓ© wine (only 13 Euros for a bottle! Crazy cheap!!) πBy almost sunset we went to the fishing town by the sea, Sao Pedro da Afurada, to have a very nice dinner! We ended up having a 4-course meal - fish soup, shrimp for appetizer, 2 massive grilled fish with potato for main dish and creme brulee for desert while we had a bottle of Green wine (yes he said it was green!) and a big glass of white sangria! It was a really fancy restaurant and we only paid 70 Euro for all of it! Incredible dinner that took me and Judy to finish eating at 10pm while having great conversation about life β€οΈ
This is my kind of night life and itβs been incredible trip so far.. hope youβre not yet tired following this Europe adventures! Iβll go back to sailing and being a cat mommy soon π
