If YES, then you can apply for a Mauritius Premium Visa.
Documents Required for Your Application
Please make sure that the documents are in English or French. If not, they should have a certified translation.
1. Valid Passport
2. Air Ticket – a copy of the air ticket to Mauritius and a reserved return ticket. You can check out our services for Flight Reservation.
3. Passport Sized Photo
4. Pre-booked Accommodation – accommodation for Quarantine and after the quarantine period
5. Travel and Health Insurance – during your stay. We recommend SafetyWing insurance for digital nomads and remote workers.
6. Proof of Funds – can be by bank statement or bank attestation or employment contract stating that applicant is working remotely. Applicant must earn USD 1500 or EURO 1300 per month for each applicant, should there be a dependent below 24 years old, an additional USD 500 or EURO 400 per dependent.
Additional for dependents:
Marriage Certificate – for the dependent spouse
Letter Certifying Parental Consent – for a dependent child in case only one parent is with them.
Steps on applying for a Mauritius Digital Nomad Visa
STEP 1: Gather the requirements. Don’t forget to book flights as well as accommodation.
STEP 2: Proceed to their website and apply for the Premium Visa.
A registration to their website will be done first, so have an active e-mail address.
STEP 3: Type your details
STEP 4: Upload your requirements. Don’t forget to double-check everything before you submit it.
STEP 5: The e-visa will be issued through e-mail. Make sure to follow the protocols of the country upon entering. Congratulations!

Things to Note:
Premium Visas are required for those staying more than 180 days; if you want to stay there less than 180 days, you will be given a tourist visa instead.
The applicant will not pay anything for the processing of the visa.
As of writing, the following are needed upon arrival:
Negative COVID-19 PCR Test result – taken not more than 7 days before boarding at the last point of embarkation.
Valid air ticket
Travel Package – accommodation (full board) at a hotel for 14 days
Those who want to work or invest may need to apply for an Occupation Permit.
Those who want to stay as a retired non-citizen may apply for a Resident Permit.
Those staying in Mauritius for more than 183 days will become tax residents.
