Belarus Tourist Visa Requirements

1. Visa Application Form completed in a block (capital) letters without blanks, you’ll need to put N/A if it is not applicable, and signed by the applicant

2. Passport and a copy – valid at least 90 days after departure in Belarus with 2 blank pages. You’ll also need a copy of the bio-page.

Step by Step Guide in Getting a Belarus Tourist Visa on Arrival for Filipinos

You can only get a Visa on Arrival at Minsk National Airport only. However, you will need to submit visa supporting documents at least 4 days before your departure. It’s better if you have a book a travel agency in Belarus as they can process it for you.

P.S. If you have a flight to Belarus from Russia, you can not avail of a Visa on Arrival.

STEP 1: Find a Belarusian Tourist Company.

STEP 2: Gather your documents and submit them to the Tourist Company.

STEP 3: Wait for a copy of the application form with a stamp of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  

STEP 4: When you arrive at the airport, present the documents to the Visa section and pay the visa fee. If you haven’t purchased a Belarus medical insurance, you can get one for EURO 4 at the airport.

1. How much is the visa fee for a tourist visa?

It will depend on the working days and where you get the visa. If at the Embassy, there regular rate is EURO 60, however, if you want it expedited from 5 days to 2 days, then you will pay EURO 120. If you get a visa on arrival at Minsk Airport, you will pay EURO 90.

It would be 5 working days or 2 working days if you chose an expedited visa.

8. How many days before my schedule should I process my application?

It will depend if you want to go to the embassy or at the airport, for the embassy, I suggest 2 weeks before your flight as you’ll need to process it in Indonesia. If at the airport, you can prepare at least a week before your departure.

9. Which method is recommended?

The most convenient one is getting a visa on arrival at the airport, even though it costs an additional EURO 30 payment, you’ll spend more if you process it at the Embassy. You will also need a travel company in Belarus so you can tour, they can process submit the visa supporting documents to the DFA for you.

10. What if I’m out of the country, how can I apply?

You can get a visa on arrival. You can contact a Belarusian Tourist Company to help you.

11. Can I visit Belarus with a Schengen Visa?

As of now, Filipinos can’t visit Belarus with a Schengen Visa. Only a few nationalities can.
