My 138th country, Bangladesh! After our trip to Bhutan, we flew to Dhaka where I got my visa-on-arrival for USD51.00. Philippine Passport Holders need to have a visa to enter Bangladesh, however, since I am now a resident of Montenegro and there’s no embassy there, I could get a VOA.

Though not really one of the most popular countries to travel in South Asia especially if it’s compared with Maldives and India, Bangladesh has quite a lot of gems too. Ride rickshaws and meet friendly people as you explore the nation’s capital, Dhaka. And go to the historic capital, Sonargaon, too. Don’t forget to catch a boat trip along the River Meghna to appreciate the beauty of nature and the culture of Bangladesh.
