Life On The Road Day 190: BANGLADESH - my country #138 ❤️

This country is actually visa-required for Filipinos because there’s a Bangladesh Embassy in Manila and you can easily get the tourist visa for Php3,300 only in 2 weeks processing time.

It was only an hour flight from Bhutan and the airport staff were kinda hesitant to let me board the airplane because they kept saying that I’m visa required. I told them not to worry! Haha. 🤪

I was lucky to be able to speak to the Immigration Supervisor in Bangladesh to grant me a visa-on-arrival which costs $51 only. Usually, some nationalities can get VOA including Jonathan who has a British passport. I told the Immigration that since I’m a resident of Montenegro now and there’s no Embassy there, then I can be eligible for VOA as what I’ve read on their website.. the staff insisted I can’t get it but the boss was just so kind and funny! Actually, the coolest Immigration officers I’ve met in Asia.. selfies with them is not allowed though!

Requirements - Hotel booking with our hotel at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, Invitation Letter from our tour with Deshghuri.com and our onward flight ticket to London!

We’ve already explored Dhaka in the last 3 days and still on a tour in Sornagaon! A super fun experience in this chaotic city, will share photos tomorrow ❤️
