I'm Pinay with a Philippine Passport - Here's How I got my Australia Tourist Visa in 4 working days while traveling in Argentina!

A facebook friend asked me one time, "Panu ka nagapply ng visa mo kung non-stop travel kayo?"

Ha, luckily na sa 75 countries na napuntahan namin together ay dahil VISA-FREE, VISA ON ARRIVAL or Free visa because of my Valid USA Tourist visa (esp in the Caribbean and Central America). Pero yung iba naman, I got it while on the road like Schengen Visa in London,; UK Tourist Visa while visiting Vietnam; my Marriage Visa in the UK while we were in California and now my Australia Tourist Visa while we're in Argentina! Never pa po ako nakapagapply ng visa sa Manila since hindi ako naka-based dun (actually, wala kaming home based since I left for Long-term travel in April 2013 !haha)

Anyway, lately, I found out na pwede mo na pala makuha ang AUSTRALIA TOURIST VISA (short-term) online without going to the Embassy! So I tried my luck and applied for the visa while we were in Argentina! Why go to Australia? It's our last and final continent as a couple! We've been to Asia, North Africa, Europe, Latin America, North America and ANTARCTICA.. Australia/Oceania na lang kulang!

So, here's what I did - you can follow this STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE on GETTING THE AUSTRALIAN VISA. You only need to do the Medical check up if you'll apply for 1-year visa.

For my personal experience, here's what happened to me! I applied on Friday and got my visa approved on Thursday (the following week) so it took them 4 working days. As always, I applied as UNEMPLOYED but this time, I mentioned that my husband is financing my trip, wala kasing interview sa Australia visa kaya kelangan as much as kompleto na details i-provide mo mas okay kesa noong USA Tourist visa ko wherein pwede pa ako mag-explain sa Consul during the interview. Kaya when you apply for the visa online-itodo nyu na po! (Yung nga link needed below, kunin nyu na lang dun sa highlighted na article above kasi ayun ung official, below is my "personal chika")

1. Create an IMMI Account - LIBRE yan!

2. Fill out mo lang yung form parang kagaya nung sa baba then submit mo lahat ng documents - yung saking PDF and JPEG lang.  Check the gallery (swipe mo lang! hihi)

3. Then attach mo na yung supporting documents - kelangan mo ng Birth Certificate dito ah (swerte ko pa-email ko pa sa nanay ko!haha), then lahat ng stamps, lahat ng visa, lahat na ng nakkaatagong kayamanan kumpletuhin nyu documents. Sa akin naman since first time ko magapply ng visa at sinabi ko nga na hindi na ako makakapagexplain further dahil walang interview, sinama ko na lahat nung sa travel blog business namin at bank statement ng asawa ko (well, pareho kaming travel blogger pero lahat ng income namin sa blog eh sa bank account nya napupunta.. mahirap kasi magtransfer sa Philippines bank account kaya wala ng laman ung bank ko! haha).. below ung documents na sinubmit ko! Check the gallery (swipe mo lang! hihi)

Kapag wala kang asawa or jowa then submit mo na lahat ng information about you and 6-months bank statement ay important ah kaya wag ka maglalagay ng biglaang maramihan na pera.. hindi batayan ang madaming pera, kelangan consistent ang pasok nya or dormant na savings account lang.

• Kapag Digital Nomad/ Online Work - submit mo lahat ng documents ng published work mo or screenshot mo ung sa online platform then ung mga income mo kahit yung PAYPAL account (sinubmit ko din yun!)

• Kung Student ka - lahat ng documents galing sa school, ask your parents na din na magsulat ng "love letter" para sa immigration! haha

• Kung wala kang work - hanap ka na ng titulo ng bahay, ask mo

• Kung Self-employed - lahat na lang ng proof ng income mo, BIR etc.

• Normal Employee - alam mo na yun, tanungin mo na lang yung HR nyu!

NOTE: Hindi mo kelangan ng HOTEL Booking, Flight booking etc. WALANG GANUN! After ng approval ng visit visa mo na ikaw magapply!

4. Review mo muna lahat then pay ka na, kelangan may credit card or e-prepaid card kasi bawal utang, bawal western union at bawak makipag-haggle sa visa. HAHA! Then waiting game na po.. dasal ka na lang sa lahat then ako sinabihan ko ang Mama ko at ang Lola ko na pagdasal nila ako! haha! After 6 days kasi may weekend, 4 working days -- lumabas na sya! [8:24 AM, 11/13/2017] Kach Howe: Luckily, I was able to get 2 years multiple entry visa and I can stay up to 3 months whenever I enter the country.

5. RAMPA ka na pero make sure na meron kang digital copy nung mga documents na sinubmit mo kasi para pag tinaning ka ng Australian immigration eh kumpleto ka na!
