I’ve meet up with my friend, Ms. Jiemin Yoon, who is the reason why I visited Seoul! We’ve met during a press trip to Croatia in June 2016 and had a great time there and I always said I’d go to South Korea.. well, it finally happened in 2020! Haha🤣

She’s a board member of Visit Seoul (Seoul Tourism Organization) and also currently pursuing her Ph.D. while raising a baby!! Oh gosh!😝 (Why are all my close friends studying post-grad?? hahaha)

She arranged my 3 nights hotel stay and also got me a Discover Seoul Pass for 72 hours that I used yesterday to visit the Grevin wax museum (I will post photos later!).

We walked and went to many attractions in the City until we reached Myeongdong where I was able to buy facial stuff, food, and BT21 souvenir! ❤️

At 7 pm, I met up with my college friend who is currently studying his Master’s Degree in Seoul. He’s actually my fraternity brother (UPLB Sigma Beta Sorority/ Beta Sigma Frat) and his wife is my sorority sister in the University.

They are both really well-traveled and just so happy to finally able to catch up with stories and their adventures. We had dinner at an authentic Korean BBQ (Samgyupsal) and the food was really good esp the side dishes. As you know I stopped eating pork but I had a go-to try it last night. Really good street food, great shopping, and busy nightlife. I can’t wait to explore more tonight!! ❤️
