How to Get a PSA Birth Certificate in the Philippines (Walk-in and Online)
For Filipinos applying for a passport, visa, valid ID, marriage license, work o school requirements, etc. – a PSA Birth Certificate is needed. The Birth Certificate has vital legitimate information like your complete name, birth date, gender, nationality, and parent's name. Here's a guide on How to Get a PSA Birth Certificate in the Philippines.
The Philippine Statistics Authority issues the Birth Certificate as they have factual data. They issue CENOMAR, Marriage Certificates, and Death Certificates. Other agencies ask you a birth certificate with the receipt as there are places who could counterfeit it. However, PSA updates regularly its security features to lessen incidents.
