Qualifications to be Eligible for an Antigua and Barbuda Digital Nomad Visa

Are you Employed or Self Employed?

Are you Paying Income taxes at your place of residence or native country?

Can work away from home with the use of technology?

Do you earn at least USD 50,000 a year?

If YES, you are eligible for an Antigua and Barbuda Digital Nomad Visa.

Documents Required for Your Application

Please make sure they are in English. If not, have them translated and notarized.

1. Passport Bio Page – must be valid for more than 2 years, for each applicant - JPEG

2. Passport Size Photo – for each applicant (including dependents), 2x2 inches – JPEG

3. Birth Certificate – for each applicant (including dependents)

4. Marriage Certificate – if applicable

5. Medical Insurance Coverage – of applicant and dependents during their stay, SafetyWing Remote Health Insurance is recommended for remote workers and nomads! – JPEG or PDF

6. Police Clearance – for applicants (including dependents) that are over 16 years old

7. Notarized Letter of Relationship – if not married with partner or Proof of Guardianship – of dependent

8. Proof of Employment or Self-Employment – may include Certificate of Employment, Job Letter, Salary Permits, Work Permit; also of dependents if applicable – PDF Format

9. Proof of Funds – the main applicant - PDF

Income must be at least USD 50,000 for every year in Antigua and Barbuda.

The applicant has the means to support everyone (self and dependents) during their stay.

10. Proof of Payment – JPEG or PDF

Steps on applying for an Antigua and Barbuda Digital Nomad Visa

STEP 1: Gather all documents required for your application. Please make sure they are in English or have been translated and notarized.

STEP 2: Proceed to this website and fill the application form.

STEP 3: Upload the documents required. There’s a section for the main applicant and another for the dependents.

STEP 4: Select the correct fee depending on how many you are. Don’t forget your signature and check what you have entered. Send your application.

STEP 5: You will receive an e-mail. After that, you will be paying your application fee through a credit card. Don’t forget to save a copy of your receipt.

STEP 6: Send a copy of your proof of payment to ndrprogrammeanu@ab.gov.ag.

STEP 7: Wait for your visa approval. You can go to Antigua and Barbuda once you have a Nomad Digital Residence Visa.

Things to Note:

  • Holders and dependents are allowed to travel in and out of the country.

  • They do not have the right seek to seek employment from local businesses.

  • No personal income tax is payable to the country.

  • The visa can be revoked if the holder:

    • Commits a crime

    • Violates terms of visa

    • Found to conduct themselves that is unfavorable to the country’s interest

  • Upon arrival, one must have a passport, application approval, and proof of payment.
