Requirements needed to be a Flight Attendant in Cebu Pacific Air Philippines

Height: at least 5’3 for Women and 5’7 for Men (Weight is proportionate to height) If possible, the Waist is below 32 and the Hips 36

Age: 18 years old and above

Education: SHS Graduate or College Undergraduate (College Graduate is preferred)

Languages Spoken: Proficient in English and Filipino

Other Notes:

  • No Visible Tattoos or Scars

  • Piercings are okay; earrings are a part of the uniform for female, but for other holes, make sure you don't put accessories in them during the interview

  • Clear Complexion - Any complexion is okay (Morena or White-Skinned), if possible, no Pimples; moles or birthmarks are OK as long as you could cover them without making it obvious

  • Good Eyesight - Though those with poor eyesight can still apply, it's preferable to wear clear contact lens

  • Catchy Smile - No Braces, but if you have one, you can negotiate and tell them you will get it out when training starts

  • Hair – colored is okay as long as it is one or two shades darker or lighter than your natural color

  • Dynamic Personality

  • With Philippine Passport – but you can apply after you have been hired

You can select “Cabin Crew” for available jobs if you want to be a Flight Attendant. If there are no current jobs available, you can subscribe to their website to get an e-mail if jobs are already posted.

You can also go to the Cebu Pacific Office – just make sure that they accept walk-in applications on the day you are going.

There are also "Open-Day" Recruitments that will be announced on their website.

How to Apply for Flight Attendant Jobs in Cebu Pacific Air Philippines

STEP 1: Update your CV and pass an application to Cebu Pacific Air Website.

STEP 2: Wait for them to reply. Usually, they will give you a schedule for screening and interview.

STEP 3: Go to the venue. It’s preferable if you do the following:

  • Bring an Updated CV with a 2×2 picture

  • Wear Business attire

    • For women, sleeveless blouse, below-the-knee skirt, no stockings, blazers are optional

    • For men, short-sleeve polo and pants, blazers are optional

STEP 4: Wait for your turn to be screened. They will usually check the height first if you are eligible. Then, the smile – you need to have a confident smile and set of teeth. Plus, your skin will be checked, you must have no visible tattoos, have no visible scars, and your skin must be even-toned. If you passed, then you can proceed to the next step.

STEP 4: You will be interviewed, so you can prepare for it beforehand. It’s preferable to answer the questions in English. Wait for the decision if you will pass for the final interview.

STEP 5: After passing your Final Interview, you will be offered the chance to train. Medical Tests and some requirements might be needed.

STEP 6: There will be a 2 month (47 days) training at the Main Office of Cebu Pacific. Expense, you will usually incur during the training period, are fares to the office (plane tickets to Manila are free), accommodation, and food expenses if there is no training on that day. There are also exams with a passing rate of 85 – 95%. You will be given 3 lifelines; it will become one less if you don't pass exams or drills.

STEP 7: After the initial training, you will have Supervised Line Experience, like an Intern Flight Attendant with a supervisor. Your Lead Cabin Crew will help you throughout the flight. However, be prepared that supervisors might scold you in front of the passengers.

After that, you will have a Check Ride, your last exam – a practical exam plus an oral exam with your supervisor or managers.

STEP 8: If you pass your last exam, then you can graduate and have "wings." Congratulations, you are now an official Flight Attendant of Cebu Pacific!

  • Basic Pay is about PHP 14,000 – 16,000 and increases yearly if you have good performance

  • Flying Time Pay – per hour which is usually PHP 350 per hour. Usually, a flight attendant can have a flying time of 70 – 90 hours per month with a limit of 1,000 hours per year; so that would be (70 * 350 = 24,500)
