What equipment to buy for your mobile massage business

1. Portable massage table

Mobility is assured with a portable massage table. It allows you to move around and offer your services everywhere. Carry your tablet and go to tourist places, hostels, or make home visits. If you have a permanent place of business, install one there, too. You do not need much to start practicing but a table or a chair is indispensable prior to launching.

2. Covers and towels

Comfort is a priority. Otherwise, clients will fail to relax completely. Have towels ready to cover customers and ensure their privacy. Also, after the session, they can use the towels to clean the residue of lotion or oil. Robes are ideal, too. If you have an extra room, you can let people transition here to prolong their relaxation and serve them tea.

3. Oils, lotions, and creams

Aromatic and relaxing, these items not only lower the friction during a massage but also add to the soothing experience. Have a variety of scents and let the clients choose what they prefer. These are easily available in any country. You do not need to bring them with you every time you move to a new destination.

4. Music

Choose music that is calming, without lyrics, and has a nice tempo. This helps clients relax and fall into the proper mindset of ease and peace.

5. Massage menu

Place the services that you offer here, along with a description of the therapy. Add information that will help clients understand how this massage restores the body. This is also a good place to inform them that tips are much appreciated.

6. Sanitizers

Because you are going to serve a huge amount of people, cleaning products is essential. Make sure you clean all of your equipment at all times, before and after use. Never let a bad word get out regarding your business and nothing is worse than a complaint about sanitation. Of course, the first thing to clean is your hands!

7. Storage unit

You need space to store all of your massage things. It can be a shelf, a box, or a bag. Use whatever is available to you. Just ensure all equipment is protected and stored properly.

8. Advertising materials

Prepare materials that will attract clients to your business. There are many kinds that you can use. There is no need for a big budget to do this well. More on this later.
