Qualifications to be Eligible for a Bermuda Digital Nomad Visa
Are you at least 18 years of age?
Have you never been convicted of a crime?
Do you have valid health insurance?
Can you demonstrate that you are (at least one)
Employed at a legitimate company outside of Bermuda?
An owner of a company registered and operates outside Bermuda? or,
Enrolled in a Research, Doctorate, Graduate, or Undergraduate Program?
Do you have enough means or a continuous source of income?
If the answers to all the questions are YES, you can get a Work from Bermuda Certificate.
Documents Required for Your Application
Soft copy of the following
1. Passport Bio-Page – should be colored
2. Proof of Employment or Enrollment in School – can be a letter with employment or work details, certificate of incorporation, school acceptance letter, certificate of employment, etc.
3. Visa Information – If you are required to have a visa to enter Bermuda (Multiple Entry Visas are required – from US, UK, or Canada.) Residents of the US, UK, Canada, or EU do not require a visa.
4. Health Insurance – policy number is asked. SafetyWing is recommended as it covers COVID-19.
5. Proof of Means – approximate annual income is asked; no specific amount is stated
Steps on applying for a Bermuda Digital Nomad Visa
STEP 1: If you are eligible, you can start gathering your documents. You may need to scan them ahead.
STEP 2: Go to this website as the online application form is here. You will need to type the details and upload the documents required.
STEP 3: Double-check the information you have entered. Accept the terms and conditions. Submit your application.
STEP 4: Pay the $263 fee for the certificate.
STEP 5: Your application will be processed in 5 working days. An e-mail with your Work From Bermuda Certificate will be sent to you once you are approved. Congratulations!

Things to Note:
Family members need to apply separately and pay the fees separately. Related applications must be submitted on the same day.
Children can attend schools in the country.
In case of denial, you can appeal within 7 working days from the date of refusal by email to the Chief Immigration Officer.
Applicants will be regarded as residents receiving a Work From Bermuda Certificate.
There is no need to pay income taxes as applicants are not employed in Bermuda.
Residential Certificate is renewable on a case-by-case basis, or you could also re-apply again.
