Bathroom with Freestanding Bathtubs Design Ideas & Inspiration [Montenegro Stone House Renovation Vision Board]
When we bought our Stonehouse Villa in Montenegro, the house only has one bathroom which is located in another building where the kitchen is located. It seems like this is normal for old houses in Montenegro. For weeks, we’ve been thinking about how we’d add a bathroom in the main house which would mean our bedroom and living room will be smaller.
We decided to have a building extension with a door from our bedroom! We asked an Interior designer to help us choose the materials and design the layout based on what we wanted. Thankfully, there is a lot of design inspiration online esp. on Pinterest about how nice it would be to have a freestanding bathtub for our main bedroom.
P.S. Just in case you’re new on our blog: Jonathan and I bought a stonehouse here in Montenegro on the last week of October and finally moved in on the last week of November 2019. In January 2020, we started with our renovation project and hoping to turn our 200 year old villa to a modern and beautiful home.
