Expat Life in Montenegro Day 713: My “brand new” Life at home in Montenegro ❤️

I know that the latest news was kinda shocking for everyone, even for me. Haha! 😂 After I recovered for few weeks after my surgery in Belgrade, I returned home to Montenegro on April 15, the house is in a big mess and my car is broken because of my brother.. my life was in full chaos but what to do? It is what it is. 😂

So, I’ve spent almost the month not sulking in the corner but made sure things will get done aside from practicing more self-love.. as you guys already know when I say something, I make sure it will happen (or I make it happen!🧿). I finally got my legal documents sorted and have a signed last will & testament in case something would happen to me when I travel.🤍

House stuff? I’ve got the white mulberry tree cut because last summer it really ruined the cement aside from cutting the trees that are ruining our stonewall, now have more wood for the next winter season!

I also got the same guys to clean the garden and helped me reorganize my storage unit. 🤗 I also installed a bamboo divider so our neighbor’s dog couldn’t enter our property as it’s annoying our cats aside from installing more security cameras so I can watch the cats when I go traveling! Hahaha 😂

I talk to my shrink every week to deal with my PTSD, I couldn’t believe it’s my first time to see one and wished I have done it this way earlier in my life… but of course, I couldn’t afford it before.😜

I also have an amazing support system like Nadia & Tom, my second parents, retired Americans who are living here in Montenegro. My Montenegrin best friend, Irena, and her husband… invited me to their house, hang out almost every day in her salon aside from helping me with some stuff to fix in the house! ❤️

The fact that Yvette also flew from London to spend the last 2 weeks with me was fantastic.. I just felt safe and secured! She was also okay that I went out to hang out with my old and new friends, I also organized three BBQs and a lunch party at home and hopefully more this summer season!😍

I’m still seeing my niece, Karylle, but they’ve been too busy lately because Kisse got a job as an Asst. Pastry Chef for a 5-star boutique hotel here in Herceg Novi while their business is starting to kick off.🙌🏽

I also have few clients who just arrived in Montenegro so business is as usual but my schedule is fully booked until when I fully return back to work in July as advised by my Doctors, I have to slow down from working - already experiencing burnout! 🤪

I’ve been spending a lot of time getting healthier after almost a year of having pains, bruises, and stomach problems.. now, I feel like I’m getting the best version of myself! Let’s see if I will reach my health goal! 💋

Tough month but I felt productive and now slowing down, enjoying the moment, and hanging out with people who only have great energy! No one can drag me down anymore, time to move on and experience more love from my cats and my support system❤️

What’s next? I’m getting back on the road and time to finish what I’ve started. Visit Every Country in the World using my Philippines Passport 🧿🧿
