Expat Life in Montenegro Day 506: I went to Podgorica, Montenegro!

We finally have a Wood Pellet Burner!

Last week, Jonathan and I went to Podgorica to see our chiropractor and to buy a wood pellet burner so we’ll be ready for the winter! Instead of wood, we’ll be burning pellets and we already used it, and definitely perfect for our house.

We used to have the proper Woodburner but when we used it last winter, it wasn’t good for the cats and our Captain Ahab got sick so we bought this new burner which is pricey but I hope a good investment! Let’s see, I’m excited for the change of season - there are 4 seasons in Montenegro!😘

It’s been raining non-stop since last week but I’m actually very happy about it because our water tank is full (we collect rainwater to use for the house!) and I can use the bathtub every day! 😬

Our friend Srdjan and his GF joined us and we also passed by Kotor (the UNESCO heritage town) on the way back home since he has to pick up something from his sister.

The cats were happy because we returned home with their favorite food for dinner, had to buy their supply in the big supermarket there as it’s cheaper than in the stores in our little town 😬
