The cool thing about traveling is meeting new friends.. our trip to Victoria Falls has been changed at the last minute because of what happened at Nairobi airport, hence, gladly it happened because our plans also changed and we met new friends!

A bit of history, there were a big group of British farmers who immigrated in the 1920s to Zimbabwe and called it home, eventually, the 3rd and 4th generation are still here.

We stayed at N1 Hotel Victoria Falls and met their brilliant GM Matthew. For those who want to explore Victoria Falls on a budget and great experiences at the same time, the N1 hotel is the best option! As most of you notice, since we started our Africa trip, I and Arione of Stewart Wander usually stay in some boutique and 5stars hotels but N1 hotel is like a home for us! Matt also arranged some cool stuff for us, he even jumped with me for a tandem gorge swing. That was a one-of-a-kind experience! We went to see Victoria Falls for almost 3 hours strolling and taking photos in the park. He also drove us somewhere for a sundowner and ended our day with some cold beers and newfound friends!

On our second day, I haven't recovered from a hangover yet, ha! Matt also arranged a crocodile cage diving for me and managed to touch them and feed them. It was my first time swimming with crocodiles a few inches away from me! Afterward, we went to Victoria Falls Hotel and saw the famous bridge that connects Zimbabwe and Zambia.

It was a short time to visit Vic Falls but did a lot of cool stuff, met new friends, and saw the glorious waterfalls that separate two countries but unites people.

I shall come back with Jonathan but he's been here when he was a kid! ❤️
