San Ber is the country's summer capital. This little town was founded by German and Swiss immigrants in 1881. They named it after Saint Bernard and the Paraguay president at that time, Bernardino Caballero.

I also ate a lot of Paraguayan Cuisine! Just like the Philippines, the Paraguayan Cuisine has Spanish Influences plus the influence of the local Guarani and other cultures. Meat and vegetables are very common. One of the most popular cooking techniques is Asado or Barbecuing.
