Kach Solo Travels in 2017: Sunset Cruise in Zambezi River in between Zambia and Zimbabwe
We finally made it to VICTORIA FALLS in Zimbabwe! We only got a single entry visa for Zimbabwe so sadly we won't make it to the Zambia side but I'll be going to Zambia by the end of this month so it's okay! :)
We arrived yesterday after booking a last-minute flight from Harare and it's only an hour and we're so happy that the guys over at N1 Hotel are still able to reserve a room for us despite the changes on our schedule. We didn't have enough cash and attempted to withdraw here but they have a shortage of cash (the whole country in general) so it's better to use your card here (good luck with the fees) or bring lots of $$$$! The funny thing though is that when we're about to cross the street, there were guys who tried to sell "old currency" and haggling was my expertise. I was able to buy 4 different old money for 2USD + 1 Pen + Kinder Bueno Chocolate. Hahaha! That was fun and instead of eating at a local restaurant, we ended up eating at KFC because we saw they have gravy! hahahaha 😍
At 3:20 pm, we were picked up by the Flatdog Lodge shuttle for our Sunset Cruise in Zambezi River in between Zambia and Zimbabwe.. we saw elephants (eating, playing, and swimming) and a lot of Hippos then watched the sunset while drinking Savanah Cider! Yum! ❤️
What an incredible day yesterday! And today we are going to see the falls and do some cool activities! ❤️ Life is only going to get better ❤️
