Expat Life in Montenegro Day 639: Road trip and enjoying the scenery of Durmitor National Park ❤️
It beautiful drive to the North even though we’ve been there a few times last year... this time, we’re able to walk on top of a frozen lake (The Black Lake / Crno Jazero)
The entrance fee to the park is only 3 Euro per person while the kids are free. Not a lot of people there so we enjoyed our afternoon walk.
We stayed in a small guest house where we rented out their 2 bedroom apartment which is enough for us plus the breakfast is included.. it was only 55 Euro per night!
I have to share the prices so you guys would know how cheap to live or travel here in Montenegro! Of course, there are more expensive places in the country but so far, Montenegro is still a budget and family-friendly destination esp. if you love the outdoors and nature!
There are restrictions in a place like wearing masks all the time unless you’re eating or inside the National Park. Then we also have a curfew but so far it didn’t totally affect us enjoying our short family trip!
Some photos from our first day of skiing holidays!
