Expat Life in Montenegro Day 638: First Family Skiing Holiday in Zabljak, North of Montenegro 🌞

What a wonderful 3 day trip to the North of Montenegro.. we thought of spending a long time but we have 6 cats at home waiting for us So glad Jose and family had a great first time experiencing the snow/winter season

It’s only less than 3 hours drive from our house in Herceg Novi and we reached one of the skiing destinations in Montenegro! My brother and his family had an instructor to teach them the basic but I think the one who had the most fun was Karylle, our 6-year-old niece

It’s really cheap to go skiing here... skiing gear rental is 7 Euro per person for the whole day, an all-day ski lift pass is only 10 Euro (Jonathan maximized it and spent all day in higher slopes ) then an hour of instructor training is 20 Euro per person. Karylle did two hours then her Uncle Jonathan went with her to practice!

I’ve tried skiing before when we traveled to Georgia and I was keen to go back to doing it but I was too scared to get a broken ankle again.. haha! I don’t like the feeling of not being able to walk properly for 3 months. Haha

Jonathan said we’d have to go skiing twice or thrice every season and I think Karylle will become a pro in a few year’s time! Haha
