Liveaboard Life Day 106 - 108: New Haircut, Meeting Local People and our Daily Routine π
Iβm still organizing photos from our roadtrips and trip to Sto. Domingo (the capital) last week but the start of this week is pretty productive! β€οΈ During one of my walks, Iβve met local guys (freediving fishermen) and able to buy a full octopus + fish for only $4! Woohoo! We also ate in local restos during the weekend (day off muna si Misis)! π Finally able to catch up with our friends, Sabrina & Blayde, and they treat us for drinks and dinner! Yummy! β€οΈ
Iβm feeling so much stronger and healthier since we started the sailing life and now that weβre in Luperon.. Iβve been walking in the morning (I canβt run yet because of my knees!) and during MWF, I join the free yoga classes with other sailors! Ha, totally different from my life 2 years ago and until last year when Iβve always been sick while traveling! Really happy and I hope that it will just continue for the better since we will be based in the Dominican Republic until November/December! β€οΈ Then after my morning routine, I actually spend most of my day in front of the laptop and talking to my coaching clients! π
Jonathan has been busy on his own stuff aside from his projects on our sailboat - preparing our mooring ball lines, fixing our inverter and installing a new cabinet shelves for our clothes! Still need to do more improvements and maintenance on the sailboat ( a lot of things could just get damaged because of the sun & salt water)
While Captain Ahabβs health is also getting better.. heβs still under his medication for the fungal infection on his lungs and we will return again to the Vet in 2 weeks time! Heβs been very active though and enjoys eating vegetables! Haha π€ͺ
Life is great now that itβs simpler! Hope you guys as well- just take it slow and easy! Happiness β€οΈ
