Liveaboard Life Day 99: Motorbike Trip with Fellow Sailors from Luperon to the Mountains

The best thing about the Dominican Republic compared to the last Caribbean islands we’ve been is that there are beautiful mountains and a lot of trees! ❤️ Now that we have our big motorbike, Jonathan and I agreed to go on more motorbike trips during the weekend.. yesterday, we went on a very cool trip with our friends.. there were 4 motorbikes!

Before the trip, we passed by a local’s chicken place so I can eat it along the way.. he’s quite known here for his really good BBQ chicken! Yum! 🤗 Then we’re off on a ride to the mountains with beer stops in between.. met a lot of local people as well then we wrapped up the trip to Agua Verde.. basically, it’s just a river and that’s where local family bring their kids on weekends! We arrived and the 3 “gringos” just jumped into the water while I was in charge looking after our things.. one grandma approached and talked to me and she even gave me a coconut! 😍 Ah, love the Dominican people and it feels like I’m just back home in the Philippines!

Anyway, I don’t think I’ll be able to drive our big bike since I can’t reach the floor.. I’m too short! Haha! I’ll always be Jonathan’s passenger. 🤪
