Liveaboard Life Day 100: Starting our Daily Routine in Luperon, Dominican Republic
Woooh! It’s been 100 days now since we left Marathon, Florida Keys to begin our sailing adventure and still can’t believe how far we’ve come in the last 3 months.. as much as we’d like to keep going.. it’s better to be safe and secured now since it’s hurricane season again in the Caribbean! We already experienced the blow last year and praying we’ll not this time! Ha 🙏
Now, that we’re back to being “liveaboards” rather than sailors.. Jonathan and I are trying to establish a daily routine again! Just like today, after I had my morning tea and feeding our Captain Ahab.. I attended the 90 minute free yoga class with fellow sailors then walked back to the boat to do some online work then dealt with my to-do list as a housewife (boat wife!).. then in the afternoon, Jonathan and I headed over to Playa Grande.. the closest beach near the harbour.
Funny that we haven’t been to the beach before and it’s really close from us.. so quiet, still undeveloped and clean! We decided now that’s where we’ll go for our “daily sea shower” since we’re trying to save water on the boat! Haha! 🤣
While I was working, Jonathan was busy fixing some minor issues on the boat! Actually, he was busy cooking Captain Ahab’s homemade gravy while I was on my yoga class! Yep, he cooks food for our kitty cat and he’s using my beef and chicken with our fresh veggies! It taste yummy though.. hope the kitty cat is satisfied since his daddy really put so much effort into it! 🤪🙀🐈
Really grateful and content.. we may not be traveling to a lot of places unlike before.. never felt this relaxed and more responsible for my health! ❤️ Thanks be to God! 🤗❤️⛵️🙏
