Liveaboard Life Day 112: Motorbike Trip to 27 Waterfalls in Imbert, Puerto Plata
Last minute decision of going on a trip today after hanging out at the Leopard 40 Catamaran of our new boat neighbor, Chuck of Sailing Yacht Keeping The Faith! We went to visit after some “exciting” shenanigans in the harbor earlier of the day yesterday, and we ended up drinking wine on his boat! And few glasses and I was drunk...lol! I’m not the same as when I was a teenager! Hahaha!
Woke up with a hangover, glad Stacy & Matt of Sailing Roxy Dog have medicine for me, so we were still on time for the motorbike trip! Chuck also joined us for this awesome adventure!
We drove for around 45 minutes to reach the waterfalls! We arrived, and it cost us 930 pesos per person for the entrance fee, tour guide, headgear, life jacket, locker and a BUFFET lunch! What a great deal.. instead of choosing to visit the 27 waterfalls we only did 12 since it will be a long day of hiking up! We only wanted to rock jump, slides, and swim! 😛
It turned out way better than my expectation.. there are really a lot of cool places to visit nearby, and we’re now planning our next road trip! ❤️🏍🤗 We returned to the harbor and I went to meet Stacy on their catamaran as she baked cookies for our “sweets” for today! Yummmy!
Thank God for awesome friends!! 😘🙏😍
