Kitchen Plates and Utensils Inspiration [Montenegro Stone House Renovation Vision Board]

If you love spending your time and energy designing and organizing your kitchen, never forget the kitchen plates and utensils. They need your attention too! Some people may think if that is really important. We understand the sentiments, for as long as you can use them and they’re durable, then no problem, right? The truth is, yes, they don’t really need to be fancy. BUT dinnerware is the main attraction of many dinner tables.

Not only do they make your dinner table look aesthetic, but kitchen plates and utensils also set the mood during your dining experience and will make your meal look much more appetizing. Not only that but your dinnerware reflects your personal style as well.

Knowing the difference between dinnerware is important. From the elegant and stylish setup to the day-to-day use. This is how you will identify what you really need. But are you aware of the type of dinnerware materials that are used? If not, we’ll tell you the most common ones.

Bone China, earthenware, porcelain, melamine, and stoneware are the most common materials used for dinnerware. Each of them has its own advantages.

Bone China is usually used for both every day and during special occasions. They are known to be durable, lightweight and the best thing is that they’re microwave and dishwasher-safe! Earthenware is more of a casual appearance. It is also one of the oldest industrial materials which require you to give it more attention. Avoid unexpected temperature changes when using it. Porcelain on the other hand is an all-around material. Porcelain kitchenware is very durable and is typically dishwasher, microwave, and oven-safe. Meanwhile, Melamine works wonders. They are harder to break compared to other materials and are ideal for outdoor use.

However, remember that they are not really suitable for oven or microwave use, but other than that, they are perfectly fine! Lastly, Stoneware is made from clay and is more durable compared to earthenware. But keep in mind to not expose them to too much high heat or freezing temperatures.

Now that you know the different materials used for kitchen plates, utensils and other dinnerware, you can now think of the design and style you want. You can choose from a very stylish one which has plenty of designs to the simple ones. The choice is yours, so make your dinner table fancier than before with your new kitchen plates and utensils!
