Expat Life in Montenegro Day 460: Kayaking in the Adriatic Sea 🛶

One of the reasons why Jonathan and I chose to move and live in Montenegro is being able to do so many outdoor activities/adventures without traveling that far. And with the current world situation, I can say that we’re still very lucky to be in Montenegro as it’s one of the safest places to be in and still do many outdoor activities with social distancing.

You could go from the other side of the country to the other in 5 hours time or less! And we could go swimming in the morning then hiking in the afternoon! 😬

So last August - we’ve done a few sailing trips in Boka Bay, kayaking in the Lake Skadar, rafting in Tara Canyon, motorbike trip to the mountains, and also Kayaking in the Adriatic Sea (the sea that separates the Balkans from Italy’s peninsula) among the other activities we’ve done! Can’t wait to show you our adventures in September.😎

This trip was arranged again by Tinggly Experiences and so amazed that they have so many tours in the Balkans that you can give as a gift for your loved ones! ❤️❤️

We started the kayaking trip with our private tour guide from Lustica Peninsula then we visited the Plava špilja or called the Blue Cave (we’ve been a few times before on a boat!) and other small caves that could only be accessed on a kayak 😬

Then Jonathan went cliff diving again with our tour guide. I don’t know why he’s enjoying rock climbing just to jump recently! Haha ❤️

If you guys are considering visiting Montenegro, I will be publishing detailed article guides soon!

You can also JOIN my Balkans group tour for April 2021.

And YES, Montenegro’s border is open for most nationalities without needing to quarantine. 🙏🏽
