Expat Life in Montenegro Day 488: Hiking in Montenegro 😬

It’s been a month now since I started walking every morning and even joined two hiking day trips with Nadia and Tom which starts from their house in Herceg Novi. Sharing photos from our first hike with them! ❤️

If you know me then you know that I don’t enjoy walking but in the last week of August, I’ve started doing at least 10K steps per day. Haha 😬 The perks of living in the coastal town of Montenegro - having the promenade/beachside for walking and the mountains for hiking!

The last few months, I’ve been having terrible back pains (inflamed back / muscle spasm) which is why I’ve been having massage therapy twice a week but finally decided to see a chiropractor for some adjustment esp. he said that my thoracic spine is “frozen” that is causing all the swelling and pain 😞

He told me that my thoracic spine is what’s causing me with so much pain because of my posture and because in the last few months, I’ve been lifting weights at the gym! 😬 Now, I have to get a regular adjustment with the chiro until I get better and he recommended for me to do more back exercise!

So, I gotta stop lifting and will continue my everyday walking and hopefully do more hiking!! 🤩 I really hope to get healthier but struggling with my nutrition/yo-yo dieting as I enjoy snacking! Argh! I’m hoping to get another surgery soon to remove the metals on my left ankle so just gotta shed some weights but the food is life 😌

Anyway, how about you guys? Any morning routine that you do that helps you feeling much better? ❤️
