Yes, this is my country 142 and my first trip to Japan.❤️

I arrived last night and pretty much trying to maximize my time. Haha!

A reader messaged me earlier that day wanting to meet me and asked her if she’s free for the night and we agreed to meet. Tita Evangeline,m then picked me at the Tokyo train station and we took the taxi to my hotel host for my entire time in Tokyo - The Capitol Hotel Tokyu.

I arrived later than planned so I had to rush and get out of the hotel with Tita. She’s 60 years old but so cool and strong, we were like joining the amazing race since it’s my first time in Japan and still figuring out the metro/ rail system.. I learned how to tap credit on my card and it’s quite easy as there are English translations. I usually prefer driving to places than public transportation but Japan is very convenient (but pricey).😬

I had to buy a big suitcase in Shinjuku after all the unexpected shopping in Osaka (which you guys know that I don’t usually do whenever I travel! Haha) then went to Shibuya as I was invited to the best Skybar in the city - Bellovisto, Cerulean Hotel 40th Floor Tokyo at the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel. Great view with good drinks and food - we had a Kobe beef steak sandwich.

Then Tita became my photographer in Shibuya crossing and Hachiko ( I watched the movie!) and told me it’s a must-visit when in Tokyo. Haha!

Then we went to have Tempura before I took the Ginza train line on my own to go back to the hotel. Glad my hotel is connected to the subway system and it’s very easy for me to go around!😬

Today is another busy day as I’m going on a cooking class, a lunch meeting, a walking tour, and a Teppanyaki dinner! Yum!❤️ Hope to visit a Cat cafe before I leave!😌
