Kach Solo Travels in 2020: Going around Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
I only have 3 days during this trip in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea but my experience so far is so different from what I was expecting whenever I read the news or articles on the internet. I changed some of my itinerary because I have flu and couldn’t go scuba diving as well.
“Dangerous, boring and nothing else to do” in the Capital city but my itinerary has been so much fun so far where I went to places that’s not very common for tourists. The people are funny and very friendly. They all speak fluent English (Australian accent!) and would even ask me to take photos with them! Haha
I think it’s dangerous to go out at night and take public transportation but the last 2 days has been great for me.
Thanks to my Mama Raga (the Chief Concierge of Hilton Port Moresby) who joined me today during her day off and to my driver Nigel of Shalom Tours & Taxi Services plus an unexpected VIP tour inside the Parliament Haus by Mr. David.
I will be coming back soon as I’ve met a Minister (high-ranking government official) who invited me to explore the other provinces.
I will post more photos later but posting this now esp for Pinoy readers - you should consider going to Papua New Guinea.
It’s visa-on-arrival for FREE (no fees) for 30 days, there are many professional & very humble OFW here (walang yabang sa katawan!) and it’s less than 5-hour flight from Manila. ❤️
