Kach Solo Travels in 2017: Chaminuka Safari Day Tour in Lusaka, Zambia!
Most of the people visiting the capital are here for business and that's why they were surprised why I'm here! Ha, not much to do but the people here are incredibly nice and friendly (the Zambian women are really beautiful too! 😍)
Anyway, I rented a car with a driver to go on a city tour and a side trip to Chaminuka Safari which is a 10,000-hectare property with protected wildlife! I've heard about this walking with cheetahs and if you follow our journey, you know that we don't go to the zoo or any place like that but I was curious because the hotel staff told me that the place is beautiful and the animals are well taken care of! So I went and after seeing the animals and the people working there, I decided to go walk with cheetahs while talking to the guides about the history and other stories. They have rescued animals as they said and they had them when they were still 2 weeks old! Well, I'll do more further reading about that but for me, it was a unique experience. 😍
Anyway, I'm still staying at the beautiful Taj Pamodzi Hotel where I have one of the 2 Junior Executive Suites and whenever I return to my room, there are Zambian specialties prepared for me! Haha! At one dinner, the Executive Chef even prepared 8 different local dishes for me to try before I had my big sirloin steak! Zambia has a really good quality of beef and other meats here aside from locally producing their vegetables and fruits! ❤️ The hotel also surprised me with spa treatments so I did facial, body scrub, and 2-hour body massage! Ha! Really really grateful since I can still clearly remember the time 3 years ago when I was the one doing the Ayurveda Massage for our clients so we can earn money!
Dreams really do come true and I'm off now to my next stop during this 2-month Africa trip! ❤️
