Sailing Life Day 65: Yoga and Argentinian Asado for Lunch in Luperon

I started the day doing yoga at the abandoned marina building here.. I usually just practice on my own on our boat but it’s always better to practice with someone else so I attended the free yoga class with fellow sailors! Thanks to CJ of SV Ragnarok for tellinh me to attend!

After that I did few hours of client calls and editing their letters for the embassies until Jonathan picked me up to go to our friend’s house for lunch! We met Luc few weeks ago and since it’s holiday yesterday, he invited us on his house for Argentinian grill since another sailor (his name is Martin) who is also here living on his boat is from Argentina.

Luc is French and a boat builder! He has his company set up here in Dominican Republic.. he arrived in Luperon 20 years ago on his own trimaran boat and decided to live here and bought a house on the hill overlooking the boats in the bay! ❤️

Fun conversations while drinking few bottles of wine that we didn’t notice it’s getting late and we have to go back to our cats!

Day 4 of our cats and they are still play-fighting! This week, we have to bring them both to a veterinarian to get Ishi’s vaccines and get him fixed while Captain Ahab needs a check up since he has some excessive tears on his right eye. 😔

Well, it’s been a great end of April! Let’s bring it on this May!!! ❤️Jonathan and I are traveling this month to Jamaica and Haiti but we’ll be going first on a trip with our cats to Puerto Plata this weekend!
