Life on The Road Day 14: Trip to Manhattan, New York!
Can you believe it’s Jonathan’s first time in New York? I’ve traveled before but always on my own and one time was with my mom! 😬
We decided to drive to NY from New Jersey where we are staying at my Uncle’s house.. since Mitsubishi USA let us borrowed one of their Outlander Sports it’s just cool to drive it around! Surprised that you have to pay $15 to enter the tunnel to New York then just luckily got a discount and paid $30 for a 6 hour parking in Manhattan! Crazy expensive 🤪
We went to Fogo de Chão in 53rd Street for lunch and to celebrate the “Mother’s Day” since I’m a crazy cat meowmy now!! Hahaha 😜😜 You know we loved this churrascaria steakhouse in Puerto Rico and decided to check out one of their biggest restaurants which is in Manhattan! Of course we had the full meat table experience where you can eat as much grilled meat you want.. I love their top sirloin and ribeye steak and of course a massive salad bar with a lot of side dishes options. We even tried their Dry Aged Tomahawk steak and their local wine and cocktail! Thanks to Jessica and Chris for making sure we’ll have a great experience!❤️
After that we walked around Manhattan then a dessert and meet up with my Sigma Beta Sorority sister and her daughter! They brought us to this super cool small shop called Serendipity 3 ❤️ They’re so cool and traveled to most of the seven wonders in the world together! Will share their blog website soon so you can follow their adventures!
Our last stop was Times Square and I asked Jonathan if he wants to see more attractions but he’s not keen and not even want to have his photos taken.. hahahaha! well my husband is an island kind of traveler so this city is too overwhelming! kidding 🤣 He was just excited to go back to New Jersey and be with our two cats 🤪
Anyway, HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY!!! ❤️❤️
