Kach Solo Travels Day 2: Traveling with my Mother in New York, USA 🤗

Who among you travels abroad with parents? Then you know that the itinerary should match their wishlist and capacity!

Unlike before when we were backpacking together in South America, my mama can’t go on crazy long walks and she’s still having a problem with jetlag! Oops!

So today, we took it easy and luckily our Hotel Giraffe by Library Hotel Collection (Check the Latest Room Rates Here) is in 26th Street in Manhattan! Really strategic location for food, bus & attractions.⭐️

After I returned to the hotel from the Philippines Consulate, I went to Times Square to activate our The New York Pass and got our tickets for the Hop-On Hop-Off bus for both day and night time! It’s pretty cool as we’ve seen most of the attractions in Manhattan and Brooklyn! Then we went down to Castle Clinton to get our Statue of Liberty ticket (free with New York Pass) which we plan to visit tomorrow!

So, mom really enjoyed the day.. we left the hotel at 1 pm and returned at 10 pm! We took a few hours break in between and watched Mission Impossible The Movie in the Regal Cinema in Times Square. Haha!

If it’s your first time in New York, I highly suggest the hop-on/off bus for your first day of the tour so you can easily figure out where are the places you’d want to visit the following days.

Anyway, gotta sleep for now because we’ll be mostly museum hopping tomorrow after our visit to the Empire State Building❤️ If you’ve been to New York or you’re from here.. any recommended museums that we should not miss (and you think my mom would enjoy??)
