Expat Life in Montenegro Day 465: Tara Canyon Rafting Trip with Tinggly Experiences❤️
One of the coolest things we’ve done last August was rafting in the Tara Canyon! Tara Canyon is said to be one of the deepest canyons in the world (I don’t agree when they second because I know Colca Canyon in Arequipa, Peru where we used to live is deeper than this one! 😬)
Jonathan and I have done rafting a few times before and it’s our first time experiencing it in Montenegro.
Our tour included a pick up from our house in Bijela (so we don’t have to drive for 3 hours! Haha) then breakfast, all the gear, lunch, and the rafting tour... I think it was a great deal! ❤️
Prior to arriving in Tara Canyon, we stopped in some places to take photos 😬 It’s better this time because our driver/guide was our photographer 😬
We did 16 km. rafting along the Tara Canyon river that separates Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina! It took us around 4 hours enjoying the rapids (not that strong but fun!) and we also stopped many times for cliff jumping, drinking rakia, and swimming 🤗
We were with two other couples - one couple from Ukraine and the other one who is from France! We had a fun group and spend the day just laughing! Haha 😬
I highly suggest for you guys to do it when you come to visit Montenegro ❤️
