Life On The Road Day 116: Had a successful ankle surgery! ๐Ÿ˜

โ€œWhat doesnโ€™t kill me makes me stronger!โ€ ha ๐Ÿ˜ Definitely a different and new kind of adventure for me ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜‹ To anyone who have undergone any ankle/foot/knee surgery.. how did you cope? How long? Any tips for me? ๐Ÿ˜

Had a successful ankle surgery last week Tuesday and the first four days after that was quite awful for me and was on a high prescription of painkiller that cause me to be very sick! ๐Ÿ˜ท

So, Jonathan decided for us to stay for 4 nights at the DoubleTree Hilton hotel near the hospital in case of emergency... but of course looking at the bright side of things our staycation was great because of the staff.

We had a big King room and that would be easy for me to move around. I was able to eat rice meals and room service (I asked Jonathan not to give me more potato and bread.. kidding! ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿคฃ)

He enjoyed his morning buffet breakfast and indoor pool but actually spent most of his days looking after me.

Iโ€™m glad Iโ€™m almost back to normal now almost a week later and already preparing for our upcoming trips! ๐Ÿ˜

Some photos from our staycation in Cheltenham and at the Gloucester Hospital after surgery!
