Sailing Life Day 53 and 54: I think we’ll stay for months here in Dominican Republic! 🤣

The last 2 days, Jonathan and I accomplished a lot from our “to do list” while at the same time just mixing relaxation and socialization! Yesterday, I spent it mostly in front of the computer working (coaching + blogging) while Jonathan was cleaning our bilge, removing dirty oil and also painting the interior of the boat! Yay!🤗

Then last night, we attended the pizza night at the Puerto Blanco Marina’s restaurant (Las Velas) and met other liveaboard sailors who included a South African long-term sailors.. the father spoke to Jonathan briefly, and later on he gave a key to his spare motorbike so we can use it while we’re here.. We’re talking to them about us volunteering for some work, and yes, we’ll help in their animal clinic! Yay!

We also found out that there’s a lot of abandoned cats here and kittens looking for a new home. Jonathan and I have been discussing for a while now having another one so Captain Ahab will have a playmate.. to all cat parents out there, what do you think of having a small female cat? Captain Ahab is 6 months old so how about we adopt a 2-month-old female?

Anyway, we also finally have our custom shirt printed.. check out the designs! What do you think? I’ll check if we can sell the shirts online so if you’re interested, comment below and I’ll look for a printing shop near you! 🤗🤗

I also had my full-body massage treatment today while Jonathan is scheduled for tomorrow! I wrote about it earlier so scan my post below! After checking the kitty cat.. we went to the chiropractor here and started our back session which we plan to do twice or thrice a week! We initially thought of staying for a month here but really loving the chill, affordable and slow life here in Luperon.. we might stay for 2 months or so depending if we will adopt the kitten since we have to wait until all the vaccines and travel documents are complete! 🤪🤪

Can you please give me advice.. shall we adopt one more kitty cat if yes we already have a name ready!? 🤣⛵️
