Expat Life in Montenegro Day 515: Social life in Montenegro 😬
Eating out since last Thursday, our social life in Montenegro😬
Even though I started to do more exercise, it’s really a struggle controlling myself with good food esp. when we’re with friends! Hahaha 🤪
We’re so thankful to find different amazing friends here in Montenegro which is why we really love living here aside from the fact that we are now also hosting our “international” friends who are visiting us.
It all started during our Thursday hike with Nadia, Tom, and Donal where we unexpectedly met up with our good friends from the Herceg Novi Tourism Board - Turistička organizacija Herceg Novi and they were having a small workshop about Rural Tourism. Tried some local food but Nadia told me not to eat much because she cooked Chicken Tandoori, Thai Green Curry and rice for us after the hike!! Hahaha 😬
Then last Friday, we went to Tivat to visit Ate Carmela (our Pinay friend) for a Mexican food lunch where she cooked Chicken enchaladas, churros, nachos while Ate Grieza brought some Nonna Podgorica donuts and Ate Cef brought grilled chicken while I prepared some kebabs! 😬
Ate Grieza and Darryl stayed overnight in our house (Fri-Sat) so we enjoyed our mangga and bagoong for dinner while Ate helped me wrap some lumpia! Haha 😛😛
Last Saturday morning until lunchtime, I went to Nadia’s house to do Zumba with our Ukrainian instructor (Yulia) and we had the pansit and lumpia that I cooked 😬
Then we drove to Risan as were invited by our South African couple friends (Richard and Yvonne) for a burger night at their home! She makes amazing burger patties!!😬😬
Then yesterday, Ruben, our blogger friend from Spain (Gamintraveler) arrived in Montenegro which is one of his stops during his Europe roadtrip. I cooked lunch but it’s an epic fail so we brought him to Grahovo and Stara Kuca (a local restaurant) there for a nice dinner! 😀
