Kach Solo Travels in 2019: Silk Carpet Production and Konigil Village Tour ❤️
For people who loves arts and crafts, I think you’d appreciate my next stops in Samarkand...🚘
I went to the Silk Carpet Production and watched ladies making a carpet that they would finish in 6 months time. It cost a fortune though so definitely worth the price!
Then we went to Konigil Village where the
Samarkand Paper (Manual Production of “Meros” Paper) is located.. they use the Mulberry bark as raw material! It’s really interesting to learn something new but I’m not really crafty.. wish I am! haha 😍
Anyway, the last two nights I had dinner at roadside Shashlik restaurants (some people call it Kebab but different in the -stans).. love how they serve you with delicious side dishes and bread! The last restaurant, the owner’s family invited me to join them and served me some Kebab (it’s a different one and in the Philippines, we call it “Bulalo”).. Haha! Still eating beef but I think I will stop eating meat after this trip! 😋
Crazy hot here in Uzbekistan.. yesterday was 43 degrees Celsius but I’m still able to go on tours early morning! More from Samarkand and next stop is Bukhara 🚘
Thanks to Lifetime Adventures for arranging my itinerary..🥰✈️
P.S. Finally able to do my laundry after almost 3 weeks and only paid $2 for everything! 😍
